Counting down the days before I head back to Rwanda to finish the lighting installation in Nybeheki refugee camp. We're looking forward to completing this project and bring much needed light to the medical staff and patients.
As I start to think about packing (I'm a pretty good packer, carry on only) there is one item I won't leave home without so I thought I should share it with all of you. My "Buff's"...Buff's are a great little invention. They are a tubular seamless piece of stretchy fabric that you can transform into a headband, hat, sweatband or bandana. It wicks away moisture, and keeps me warm when I need it. Works great under my bike helmet too. The only downside to Buffs are they are addictive. Buffs come in about a bizillion different colors and patterns, once you try your first one, the second, won't be far behind.
I'm a pretty simple person and not much of a consumer, but when it comes to Buff's I have little will power. I now own five ! You can find Buff's at REI or Buffwear.com.
I look forward to updating you soon from Rwanda.
Peace and many blessings,
Linda
